Between 2010 and 2020 the city of Worcester grew over 14% while the county grew by 8%, even beating the explosive growth of Boston. During that time, CNE Dental, whose dental office is located in nearby Auburn, had to grow as well, hiring additional dentists and staff to meet the demand.
Even the pandemic has not been able to stop population growth in Worcester. The pandemic has caused the population to decrease in half the counties in Massachusetts, but not in Worcester county.
The growth has been extremely diverse, with Worcester being home to over 35,000 immigrants from 85 different countries. This is apparent by the diversity of the team at CNE dental as well. The dentists and staff speak many languages including Spanish and Portuguese.
CNE Dental’s prosthodontists have always been known for their skill in cosmetic dentistry, but with this growing diverse population there’s a growing and diverse need for dental care. One of the niche needs that CNE Dental has grown into has been providing sleep apnea treatment. CNE dental has partnered with Dr. Lobo Lobo in offering sleep apnea treatment without a CPAP machine to patients in Worcester, Auburn, and surrounding towns.
CNE Dental can also offer dental implant treatment and root canals with the support of Worcester Periodontics. While the prosthodontists at CNE Dental can sometimes place dental implants, they do partner with the specialists at Worcester Periodontics in order to make sure their dental patients have access to root canals, tooth extractions, and complex implant placements.
